Listening as an Act of Solidarity

Join us on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. for a reflective online gathering in preparation for the National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples. Since 2002, the Canadian Catholic Bishops have invited all to mark December 12th with prayer and solidarity. This webinar offers an opportunity to listen deeply to voices who will guide us in reflecting on what true solidarity means.

Presenters include:

  • Julian Paparella, originally from London, Ontario, currently completing his PhD in Rome, studying what we learn when we listen deeply to Indigenous families.
  • Sharon Giroux, member of the M’Chigeeng First Nation and Vice President of Equity for OECTA Provincial.
  • Gabrielle Jette, Indigenous Student Trustee with the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.

All are welcome to join this time of learning, reflection, and shared prayer.
