O my Jesus, I place my trust in you.
Let us listen to God’s Word.
The sum of your word is truth,
and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.
Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble.
(pause for a moment of silent reflection)
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, full of compassion and love, have mercy on us when we forget that God wants to help us by giving us his commandments.
Knowing we are together on the path to holiness, we now ask for the grace of knowing that we can find peace in following your ways.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place all our trust in you.
