In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O my Jesus, I place my trust in you.
Let us listen to God’s Word.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
(pause for a moment of silent reflection)
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, full of compassion and love, have mercy on us when we do not seek peace.
Encouraged by your words we now ask for the grace to learn to be peacemakers where feelings are hurt and where conflicts arise.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place all our trust in you.
